About me

My passion for promoting health through a healthy diet and lifestyle started in my late teens when I became chronically unwell, however this passion was actually embedded in my upbringing in the beautiful countryside of South Devon where my mother was passionate about clean living and eating organic locally produced foods. Good nutrition has always been a way of life for me and is in the makeup of what makes me who I am today, so it seemed only natural for me to pursue this passion further and to be able to share it with others and help them to take the steps they need to a healthier happier life.

After a particularly stressful point in my life at the age of 19 I found myself suffering from a very debilitating form of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I felt very at sea and unsure where to turn for help because at this time CFS was still considered to be all in the mind and certainly wasn’t widely accepted or understood. Through my journey of ill health I turned to a lot of complementary therapies along with nutrition to support my body and giving it it’s best shot at recovery from a very debilitating illness. Over the years (6 to be precise) I gradually found myself starting to feel better and day-by-day I got stronger and stronger and along with my recovery my passion for nutrition also went from strength to strength.

Fast-forward over a decade and I am now a fully qualified, registered Nutritional Therapist after studying for 3 years at the renowned College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. I am also a member of BANT (British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy) as well as the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council).

I have a particular passion for women’s health, pre/post-conception care, digestive health, CFS/ME, stress and weight management. However, I also advise on many other areas of concern including thyroid health, hormonal balance, healthy eating programmes, reflux, allergies, blood sugar management, detoxification, sleep, immunity and much more.

My ambition and motivation is to help educate and support clients in improving their health and lifestyle to enable them to become empowered and in the driving seat of their own health journey while enabling them to become the best versions of themselves.
